GeNEUROsity’s Partners

Posted: September 9, 2020

GeNEUROsity believes in changing the world by changing the lens through which we view the world. Everyone needs help—even the helpers. When you empower those who will or are already working toward service and charity, you facilitate real change in the world.

We seek to establish the firm foundation that individuals and organizations need to create opportunities they might otherwise miss and forge paths that might otherwise be locked to them.

The GeNEUROsity family seeks to make progress through small contributions to organizations and individuals that give hope and inspire people to rise up to the challenge of creating a brighter future.

In the short few years we’ve been active, we have provided volunteers and funding to a variety of organizations whose purpose is that very inspiration. Here are a couple examples:

Fuller Center for Housing:

We’ve established a community day each year on Martin Luther King day when we provide funding and volunteers to work on construction projects for the Fuller Center contractors—an organization giving back to their local communities by providing basic living amenities in the form of affordable and safe housing.

This past year we helped to build a home for a service-disabled Iraqi War veteran and his family. By providing him, his wife, and their children a safe place to live, they are now better able to recognize and seize the opportunities to make their own unique difference in the world. Whether it’s getting a good night’s sleep before impressing the boss the next morning or coming to a warm and safe home from school to think clearly as you study for your algebra exam, the importance of a home cannot be understated and the Fuller Center knows it.

NAACP ACT-SO:

The Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics is a division of the NAACP to whom we recently started to provide funding so that they can promote scholastic excellence in the arts and sciences. They prepare aspiring youth for higher education and future academic endeavors, aligning with our mission to help individuals recognize and seize the opportunities that are around them. We help ACT-SO so that they can help students go on to be the future leaders we all rely on.

Every one of our partners represents a driven ambition to help change the world in a better way. They pursue a future of helping others, provide their unique skills to difficult tasks, and find themselves in need of that small but necessary push to become a better resource for communities and individuals.

We do not seek to provide a one-and-done infusion of funding or volunteers though. The GeNEUROsity family looks to set off a chain of dominos with consistent partnership. We want to cultivate small changes that promote big impact.

Take our recent contribution to Johns Hopkins Tech Ventures. This organization is an accelerator program designed to assist student entrepreneurs in the translation from idea to execution. We sponsored an inspiring med-tech graduate startup during the Summer of 2020 to continue their path to commercialization and to pursue their passions.

These student entrepreneurs are our future. As each year goes by, we recognize that we need them now more than ever. We hope that this partnership with Johns Hopkins will provide a platform over the long term for these incredible students, who will go on to exert exponential influence in the world—significantly increasing the impact that we’re all able to make.

To GeNEUROsity, this is the inevitable reward for everyday service: seeing that the good you do—however small–can help others create/pursue opportunities and succeed.

We are always on the lookout for more partners capable of this impact. If you’re working to bring a better future to the world and feel you require some helpful resources to provide that impact, we encourage you to explore our website and reach out to us to discuss your ambitions.
