GeNEUROsity has been working with its charitable partners for over two years, and we have already seen great things come of it. Today we’re going to deep dive into a few of them so you can see exactly what we mean when we say each of us can magnify our unique contribution through collaboration.
Johns Hopkins Tech Ventures (JHTV)
We seek to encourage and support those individuals who aspire to great things. JHTV focuses on exploring fields of advanced innovation with ambitious students. Once through this program, these students will go on to contribute greatly to the future. They just need a leg up today.
Earlier in 2020, GeNEUROsity, through JHTV, provided funding to a graduate student med-tech start-up team to achieve specific developmental/commercial objectives during this summer (2020). We are thrilled at the results.
With this $10,000 we provided, the students launched CraniUS, a medical device start-up focused on advancing drug delivery techniques for chronic brain disease patients. Their flagship product is the first implantable device that enables chronic infusion of therapeutics directly into the brain.

Project Sunshine
Project Sunshine transforms medical environments in order to help pediatric patients thrive while hospitalized. They ensure that children, caregivers, and hospital staff can face challenging times with ways to cope with stress, reliable means of support, and social events that brighten a patient’s day. In 2019, GeNEUROsity assisted in the funding and volunteer work for one of Project Sunshine’s arts and crafts events for children with disabilities.
Offering and receiving service is something no one is beneath or above. Project Sunshine warms our hearts with how they extend those social needs and activities to people in their community.

Fuller Center for Housing
With JHTV’s accelerator programs providing for needs on the educational and entrepreneurial fronts and Project Sunshine offering children community and social connection, we would be remiss not to mention our regular partnership with the Fuller Center for Housing, who helps their community with one of the most basic needs: shelter.
Every Martin Luther King Day, GeNEUROsity sends a number of volunteers in our network to assist with the construction projects that the Fuller Center contractors work on in the New York City area. They build houses and complexes to provide simple, decent places to live. Due to gentrification, many communities in this area struggle with the lack of affordable housing, and it is thanks to the Fuller Center that these same communities have options that provide security and safety at a price that doesn’t lead to crippling debt.

At GeNEUROsity, we believe everyone deserves to have what they need in order to become the best version of themselves. Without making sure we each have what we need to survive and thrive, the prospect of human potential as a whole dwindles.
We are here to encourage and support these helpers who, in turn, make the world a better place for all of us.
We are always looking for more partners with similar dedicated ambition to creating a better future. If you’ve been inspired by these stories or believe your organization would be a good fit with us, we encourage you to explore our website and reach out to us to see how GeNEUROsity can work with you—so you can better help others.
